1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Jobriq. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jobriq website at jobriq.com and our AI-powered resume optimization and job search assistance service (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Jobriq, LLC, a limited liability company based in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States.

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jobriq is an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers by analyzing job descriptions and calculating match scores, generating optimized resumes and cover letters, providing interview preparation materials, and tracking job applications. Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic via AWS Bedrock). The Service is currently in an early-access phase and may be updated as we continue development.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you may only use this Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain and update your account, keep credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 30-day free trial. No payment information is required to start. After the trial expires, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue.

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Current pricing is on our website at jobriq.com.

5.3 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel at any time through account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. All payments are generally non-refundable; contact support@jobriq.com for billing errors or significant service disruptions.

6. User Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of your User Content. All resumes, cover letters, and materials you upload or that are generated based on your profile belong to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring information you provide is accurate and for reviewing all AI-generated content before use.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without our prior written consent
• Resell or commercialize the Service or generated content without authorization

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or any particular outcome. Viability scores and match assessments are estimates, not guarantees. You must verify all facts in generated content.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, design, and technology (excluding your User Content), is the exclusive property of Jobriq, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN ERRORS AND THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ALL CONTENT BEFORE USE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBRIQ, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00).

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States. Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting support@jobriq.com. Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved in the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a class or representative proceeding.
